The new SSPF pension rules explained

Under the new Pensions Act (Pensioenwet), everyone will receive a new pension. Your adjusted pension scheme is expected to take effect on 1 January 2027. What does this mean for you: what will change and what will remain the same? We have listed the key points for you below. You participate in SSPF if you joined Shell before 1 July 2013.

We will only be able to explain what the change means for you personally towards the end of 2026.
In November 2026, you will receive a provisional calculation, followed by a final calculation in spring 2027.
